It is important for you to understand your motivations and needs, at least enough for you to begin to make clear decisions about your career.

Achieving enough of a balance to initiate good career choices is important to your career and emotional health. You may not know exactly what you want in a job or career situation, but understanding what you don't like is sometimes equally as important as knowing what you do like.

This knowledge will help you avoid unpleasant situations you have put yourself into in the past.

Change your situation through knowledge and understanding, not circumstance.
