Face to Face
With Fred Coon

May 13, 2003 - Who you are, most of the time, is based upon a combination of genetics, experiences and circumstances you've found yourself involved in. Unfortunately, because most people are so busy just living, they don't take the time to find out who they are and what drives their behavior. It is important for you to understand your motivations and needs, at least enough for you to begin to make clear decisions about your career.

Achieving enough of a balance to initiate good career choices is important to your career and emotional health. You may not know exactly what you want in a job or career situation, but understanding what you don't like is sometimes equally as important as knowing what you do like.

This knowledge will help you avoid unpleasant situations you have put yourself into in the past.

Change your situation through knowledge and understanding, not circumstance.
